Research Interests

My research interests include modeling and analysis of 2D materials and their applications in fabrication of novel devices (nano-electronic or M/NEMS-based). Currently, I am working on molecular dynamics simulation of graphene and carbon nanotube based structures in pursuit of their potential in the field of nanotechnology. Besides this, I am also interested in novel organic photovoltaic and optoelectronic devices and flexible electronics, specially NEMS-based logic. In this regard, I have developed a semi-analytical model for bulk-heterojunction organic solar cells that has been published in the journal Organic Electronics. In regard to photovoltaics, I have also worked on analytical modeling and computational analysis of perovskite-based tandem cells and the perovsite material, in general. Results of these works have been published in journals such as the IEEE Transaction on Electron Devices, Physica Status Solidi A, and Computational Materials Science. Please refer to the research and publications sections for more details and links to all published articles.
